SCHOLARSHIP OPPORTUNITY
Dear Arp High School Students,
Arp Community Events (A.C.E.) is a non-profit organization that focuses on bringing fun and safe events to the community as well as lending a helping hand to support our neighbors. Each year we have given out two scholarships. The total amount of each scholarship greatly depends on the participation and vendors at each festival.
Please read the qualifications and requirements below to be considered for the scholarship program.
1. All students in Arp High School (9-12) are eligible to participate in the Arp Community Events Scholarship Program. Each year you earn your community service hours through volunteering with A.C.E.
2. Senior students that would like to be considered for the scholarships must write a 500 word essay as to why they should be considered for the scholarship. Please include any positions you hold in school i.e. sports, clubs/associations and any community service you have performed in the past.
3. Each student is required to submit three(3) NON-FAMILY reference letters on your behalf. This can be from a teacher, preacher, mentor etc.
